Built by the Genoese in 1098, Fezzano has a Romanesque façade, the result of the work carried out by the Magistri Anelami, between 1116 and 1130. Semi-destroyed by the Aragonese in 1491, many of its parts were restored several times, including the columns in white Carrara marble, the octagonal dome added only later and the bell tower.
Inside the building with three naves with round arches resting on black stone columns, there are numerous works of art, including a 15th-century triptych and a 14th-century image of the White Madonna.
